Step Up for Mental Health – presented by Cameco – is returning for a sixth year with live and virtual events this fall.
The 5km and 10km run/walk will happen on a scenic and flat course in Saskatoon on September 22nd. Registration will open on May 10th at 9 a.m. (SK time) with all proceeds going to mental health support programs in Saskatchewan. There will also be a virtual option this year, with limited spots available when registration opens.
You will be able to register for the in-person and virtual events via this website on May 10th and through the Race Roster platform.
A special $55 registration price (plus tax/fees) will be available for either distance as early-bird pricing from May 10th to June 7th.
Widely regarded as Saskatchewan’s most successful fundraising run and walk, Step Up for Mental Health has raised almost $2.5 million since launching in 2019.
Cameco has agreed to a new long-term commitment as presenting sponsor with the event now being managed by a new Saskatchewan-based organization called 321 Go Running.
Led by long-time Step Up race director Jonathan Huntington, 321 Go Running has partnered with Brainsport, Prairie Run Crew, New Balance and many more organizations to continue the Step Up tradition of providing an inclusive, vibrant and positive experience.
